Military Families

Supporting military families in Wichita, including Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard families stationed at McConnell Air Force Base and throughout the surrounding community.

Support from someone who understands the unique challenges of serving families.

A Life I Know Well

As a military spouse for twenty years (Army to AirForce), I understand the unique challenges military families often face. I've experienced deployments, solo parenting seasons, frequent moves, and the reality of building community far from family.

Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the importance of support, flexibility, and having people around you who truly understand. Whether you're preparing for your first baby, welcoming another child after a PCS, or just navigating how to grow as a military family, my goal is to provide calm, compassionate care while helping you feel confident and supported during this season.

How I Can Help

Military life doesn't stop when a baby arrives. As your doula, I can provide birth and postpartum support while helping you navigate the unique challenges that often come with military family life.

Whether you need practical support, encouragement, help finding local resources, or simply a steady presence when plans change unexpectedly, I'm here to walk alongside you.

You were made for this, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Military Family Support Fund

One of my goals is to make doula support accessible to military families who may be navigating financial challenges, deployments, transitions, or seasons with limited support.

As Quiet Light Doula Care grows, a portion of available funds and donations may be used to help offset the cost of services for qualifying military families.

Availability is limited and will vary based on funding. If cost is preventing you from seeking support, I encourage you to reach out. I'd be happy to discuss available options.

TRICARE Coverage

Quiet Light Doula Care is actively exploring options for future TRICARE coverage and reimbursement opportunities. While services are not currently covered through TRICARE, I am committed to staying informed about available programs and advocating for greater access to doula support for military families.

If you are a TRICARE beneficiary and have questions about current options, please feel free to reach out.
